I'm in Africa! I got off the plane in Capetown, South Africa, this morning after a 22 hour fever dream. I had my paints with me as carry-on but Eddie wouldn't come out to play during the flight. Through a neatly lit airplane reading light halo I stared and stared at this small canvasboard rendering of a little cabin mountain stream scene for about an hour.
nothing.
then I took the board and whacked my forehead with it. nothing. again and again. nothing.
The attendant came over and asked me if anything was wrong I asked if the booze was free she said yes and that was it. Eddie was kind of pissed to be on the plane for so long and didn't want to reward me with a painting exhibition. He did tantalize me with thoughts of superhuge Jesus hands and feet on a little Christ body but no text or anything else spilled out to help achieve critical mass in the breenage department.
I'm feeling kind of lagged, but I'll let you know if Eddie decides come out and do Africa. Meanwhile, last finished breen that hasn't seemed to make it here was the clown piece. It's funny how everybody hates a clown, and the already hefty bidding on this piece reflects that!
